EBOT Exam is growing in interest every year, although proper educational material and specific educational events for preparation are still missing.
Following the success of the first two Summer Schools held in Faro, FORTE Summer School is heading for its 3rd edition. It is already a huge success with a high satisfaction index from both participants and faculty in the past editions. The two courses that we supply are of huge assistance for both junior and senior trainees, whether they are starting their career of preparing for their final EBOT Exams.
FORTE Summer School provides an accessible educational opportunity for all European trainees, during any stage of their progression through their training. One of its main goals is to aid the preparation for the EBOT exam, open to residents in their last two years of training (applying or not to the Exam). The other critical goal is to provide a comprehensive general review course, open to residents in all years of training and young orthopaedic surgeons, below the age of 40.
The format of the event is designed to enable time for study and most importantly, an environment and setting that would enable informal exchange of clinical and training experiences, case discussions and network between participants and faculty.

Following the success of our previous congresses, the format of the meeting will again hopefully encourage interaction between participants with both Symposia and Instructional Lectures sessions given by distinguished speakers from all over Europe. Other sessions will include Interactive Expert Exchange and Complex Case Discussion sessions as well as Free Paper submissions from all over the world. We are also delighted that we will be joined at this Congress by a delegation from the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) who will be able to add further to the scientific contribution.
Traditionally, two highly renowned orthopaedic surgeons will deliver the Michael Freeman and Erwin Morscher Honorary Lectures.
The main theme of the Congress in Barcelona will be “Innovation & New Technologies”. Highlights of the Congress also include, among many others, , new diagnostic techniques, robotics & computer-assisted surgery, 3D printing, advanced implant technologies, new tissue regeneration techniques, telemedicine, innovative rehabilitation programmes and virtual learning.
The scientific programme would be, however, incomplete without your participation and we sincerely hope that you will consider not only your attendance but also your participation in providing and submitting abstracts, the presentation of which forms a major and important part of the meeting.

Since 1992 Isokinetic Medical Group has been organising the International Conference on Sports Rehabilitation and Traumatology. This event has become a landmark for all those who deal with orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine.
The Conference mission is to inspire the international Sports Medicine community, through Culture, Image, Atmosphere and Organisation, to give their best to improve the health of the world.
We are proud to announce that the 27th Isokinetic Medical Group Conference will be held in Barcelona at Camp Nou the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June, 2018 and we will discuss about Football Medicine Outcomes.
World largest football medicine international gathering to learn from the outstanding selection of Internationally recognized experts in Football Medicine and Sports Medicine, to share their knowledge and expertise in a wide range of areas, to communicate and know each others as a global network.
What is the real impact of our player care work for the footballers of the world?
What are the outcomes of prevention, surgery and conservative management?
Are we ready and really able to measure outcomes?
These are some examples of the questions that we will pose to the faculty and promote in open debates and forums during the conference.
“Thinking in terms of measurable outcomes pushes our collective ambition for a better recovery of patient injuries.”Stefano Della Villa

Welcome you to the 59th NOF Congress, to be held in Reykjavik, Iceland, June 13-15, 2018.
The Nordic Orthopaedic Federation plays an important role in the continuing education of young orthopaedic surgeons and residents in the Nordic countries. Therefore, we have put together a program that is designed to deliver practical information on current topics in the form of lectures and smaller symposia as well as being a showcase for the current orthopaedic research being performed in our part of the world during the scientific sessions.
We are convinced that you will have a great time in Reykjavik enjoying the scientific program which has a wide coverage.
Not to mention the bright summer nights stimulating late discussions with Nordic and International colleagues.
It is an honor for The Icelandic Orthopaedic Society to host the 59th biannual NOF congress. We hope that you decide to attend and that we will see you in good spirits in Reykjavik 2018.
FFN invites you to join the 7th FFN Global Congress 2018 in Dublin, Ireland from 5–7 July 2018. The annual meeting is an international congress addressing the full pathway of care for fragility fracture patients. Its themes include perioperative care, surgical treatment, rehabilitation, secondary prevention, research and policy change. The FFN Global Congress consists of invited international experts, plenary discussions, update sessions and free papers. The congress provides a unique platform to learn about new technical developments, state-of-the-art procedures and interaction with leading clinicians, researchers and other professional health workers and stake holders. This year’s motto is “Patient centred multidisciplinary care”.
The first of our traditionalized TUSYAD Congress was organized in 1991 in Istanbul and have been organized biannually since then. Each congress has been more educative and updated from the previous one. With keeping in mind that nowadays sport trauma treatment and arthroscopic surgery technology are rapidly developing, we will be approaching these topics at our 2018 Congress, together with the rapidly developing arthroscopic approaches on knee, ankle, shoulder and hip. We are planning courses and live cadaver surgeries. We are also aiming to benefit from the advanced experience of our educators who are experts of their field.
The 39th SICOT Orthopaedic World Congress will be held from 10 to 13 October 2018. This will be the second SICOT congress held in Canada and once again is being held in the beautiful city of Montréal.
Montréal is one of the oldest cities in North America and in 2017 is celebrating its 375th anniversary. It offers a charming combination of old world architecture and modern technology set in the context of a dynamic French-English duality that is the envy of cities around the world.
Montréal is recognised as a gastronomic destination with more restaurants per square kilometre than any other city in North America and a significant number of Michelin listed establishments; in addition it has a large number of museums and galleries and a very vibrant visual art scene.
The congress will be held at the Montréal Convention Centre, centrally located in downtown Montréal. Every congress hotel is in within easy walking distance of the convention centre and the hotels offer every price point for accommodation. For those wishing to venture further afield Montréal has a modern public transit system and easy access by air, road and rail with the major tourist destinations of eastern North America.
